Gamepaign 2008

It begins...

For those of you using an RSS reader, come on by to Tacky Graphics Central to check out the new Gamepaign 2008 section (and the cheesy layout.)

If you look to your right, you'll see all your favorite characters with links to each of their scoring pages. Click on the candidate's name to see his or her points record and to "play the game" by leaving a comment about something the candidate has said or done to deserve a demerit (be sure to include your suggested number of points lost for the candidate's actions, too.)

In the next couple of days I'll be getting back to regular programming on the 4ECon, so this game will continue being played entirely in the background while the candidates' scores are updated in the Gamepaign section. From now on, any time you see a change in a candidate's score, just click on his or her name to see when and why the points were taken away.

Doesn't all this just sound so official? Yeah, it's great. I'm taking this game seriously, dammit, especially since my vote is on the line... I invite you all, again, to do the same: If you hear something on the radio, see an interview on TV, read a statement in the USA Today or even if you want to see if you can get away with blatantly making something up, come on over to Gamepaign 2008 and let it be known to The 4ECon Market. Even though I've got nothing else to do besides sit around and watch debates all day, I certainly won't be able to get all the juicy presidential candidate info myself.

Also, if anyone wants to pledge their real vote to the winner, you can use this post to publicly announce it. (No hurry, no hurry - I don't expect anyone to have that much faith in The Market yet...)
